Love the idea of being fit, but....

Hi all! Once upon a time, I was an almost athlete (if having a black belt in TKD counts
I say almost because I still wasn't at an ideal weight or at top endurance, though I could break bricks and execute proper flying side kicks
). Then came kidlings and life, and more kidlings, and knee injury, and stress and...well, you know the story. No exercise, poor nutrition, intense stress levels, and lack of sleep equals me now - morbidly obese, completely out of shape and totally lacking in self confidence.
The one thing I have going for me is I still love the idea of being fit (I've never been one to be concerned about the scale). I've done 2 5k's in the last 3 years and was proud of myself for finishing - even though it was absolute dead last each time (yep, me and the police car). I've signed up for another 5k in May - no police cars in this one though, it's an untimed Mud Run. I love saying "mud run"! So I have my goal in sight - I know I'll be able to finish - but I want to be able to do all (or at least most) of the obstacles as well.
By making it past those obstacles, I can gain the self confidence I need to deal with the other obstacles in my life. (Especially my overflowing clutter problem - yeah, my home is unfortunately a direct reflection of my body and vice versa).
So I'm looking for some other supportive friends who are or were where I am - at the very, very, very beginning and who are patient with someone taking "inch" steps - cause I'm not even ready for the baby steps! (yet!)
Thanks! (Hope this works - yeah, I'm at the beginning when it comes to learning online forums as well)
