I have to do a research proposal and I'm just stuck as for ideas as to what to research. I know I want to do somthign with health and there has to be research and journals to back it up.

So...any ideas?

What class is this for? That would be a good place to start. (Sorry, the world of research is astronomical!)
  • Well if it has to be health you could try something like diets v healthy eating. Or dirt pills vs healthy eating. You could stem towards exercise and do a research paper on exercise using game consoles. There is a lot of research out there on that. Which game console is the best for exercising? Ect. I wish I had your research paper it sounds interesting.

If you did that and had friends that had a wii, one with a ps3 and one with a kinect you could have them track their food, results from weight loss and that could be the practical application towards your paper. You could let them pick thief game and gage your paper off of the results the received from each game. I was a exercise science major at one time so I would be all over a paper like this.!

You are fortunate there is a LOT of research in this area. Get the idea and do a medline search.

Does peer support provide added benefit to healthy living?

Times and types of exercise compared to each other, walking vs swimming for example. Ratios of processed foods verse natural foods nutrition wise. The differences in exercises bulking up vs slimming down/ cardio vs weight training. Those are a few of my suggestions. Good luck on your paper :)
