Current photo weight 164lb, there is another at my start weight of 200lbs on my profile page.
i was very hesitant to put a photo up but as i'm starting weights i want to document the start point. so this is a compromise for me as only people interested enough will bother to look:blushing:
Have always been a runner( 10 full marathons), but births of children combined with lots of Beer :drinker: , resulted in large weight gain , i returned to running only to tear the cartilage in my left knee, in fairness to the NHS , they fixed it really well (althougth my running days are over) but another 16 months waiting for an operation added the weight to the 200lb mark, things had to change, after the knee was fixed i started swimming, combined with the Wii fit and lost 15 lbs and then stopped until i found this site, diet has made all the difference and i've lost another 21lbs, but its going from places i don't want it to now, so time to change tack, start doing weights (have a 4 day dumbell plan , which i'm going to give 4 months), slow the weight loss to 0.5 a week and see what happens next.
any support or friends at this point would be great as i've never done weights before
