Just charted out my day so far. I have lost 7 lbs prior to joining MFP via watching what I eat, but eating what I enjoy and exercise plus reducing alcohol consumption - I like beer and wine, but a glass of day of either was not allowing me to lose any weight. I was maintaining my weight, but would rather see the numbers go down!

Alcohol is tricky! I never really consider the calories when I go for a piss up but truth is they'll easily throw you over your recommended intake and the next day your too hungover to remember exactly how many you've had lol. If you do like a glass a day then just take a look at your diaries after a week etc and see what could be cut to allow them in your routine, like other snacks you could substitute etc?0
