Hey everyone. I workout really hard in my opinion. I have lost a lot of weight over the year. Since I have been on MFP I have lost 10lbs. I have lost several inches as well. I am going to Florida the last week in July. I am wanting to tone my body, especially the ab area. I usually do the elliptical on an interval setting and my hrm says that in 30 min I usually burn 275-300 calories. Anyways, I am 130.4lbs and I would like to get to 125. I think I can reach this by toning. I have never been that small. Any suggestions on how to tone my body better would be greatly appreciated. I usually strength train 15-20min 3 days a week. But I don't feel like I am doing enough and the right exercises. Please help!!
Thanks everyone!

Anyway you are able to get into a pilates class? It does wonders for the core and toning.0

around my small town we don't have that sort of thing. But I do own Winsor Pilates. Atleast one video. I was my leanest right before I got married and I did that video and a lot of other exercising. I loved it. I was thinking of doing it on top of everything else. When we move, as soon as we sell our house and buy another, I am joining that cities local gym and they have a pilates class among others!!0

Cardio, and for actually giving muscle definition do strength training - light weights with high reps. Pilates will def help as IcePrincessk mentioned.0

Yoga, too! People ask me about my abs and back muscles all the time, assuming I do a lot of weights, etc, but I don't -- I just practice yoga 4-5 times per week. It is great for overall toning, and especially for those core muscles.0
