I am new to fitbit and loving it but it doesnt really pick up my activity when go to curves ( cardio and weight machines @ 30 sec intervals and I do that 3 times around which is about 45 minutes) I have been pressing start and stop when i go but it only says i am lightly active during that period and gives a burn of about 145 cal which is about 150 calories short. I am not completely anal but should i add the difference manually? I guess i dont really understand the activity part.
Thanks for any help.

hey sweets. yeah, i have noticed that too. a tip is to wear it at the waist or lower, to get all the activity you can, that part of your body moves more than say having it clipped to your bra.
that said, the darned thing only really notices when you are walking or running. i add in manually other stuff. also considering getting an HRM for stuff like that. I love my fitbit, but as i am doing more strength training, it is slightly less useful to me. great for getting me walking though.0
