Question about Calories burnt

Okay so MFP gives me 1530 calories a day, and says i should burn 590 calories per week in order to loose weight at the rate of 1lbs per week. I have been here 260 days and lost 26lbs (okay so it isnt that far off but i am struggling)

If i have been eating those calories and some of my excercise calories (so that my net is always 1200 minimum) but burning over 2500 per week (i am using a HRM) could this be why i am struggling to loose weight?

I am 5'6, currently weigh 172.5lbs. I also have PCOS which i assumed was the reason i am strugglign so much but looking at the numbers is it maybe linked to my calories burnt being higher than MFP suggests i need to do?

Hmm hope that all makes sense to someone!

The deficit set by MFP does not include exercise until you actually do it - the exercise goals you set are personal, but if you change them it does not alter your calorie targets.

the 1530 that mfp gives you should be after eating and workouts... (your supposed to eat back your workout calories) you might simply not be eating enough if your netting 1200 ..

im sure others will chime in

Thanks for the replies. I have found if i eat back all my excercise calories i do not loose anything but i gain, attributing this to the PCOS as i know we have to work harder to loose weight with it.

I have however just discovered that i can reset my excercise in goals to more accuratly reflect the amount of excercise i do and frequency and although still not very close to what i do burn it is better than it was which put my mind at rest a little.
