Walk the Wight?

Are any of my local friends participating in Walk the Wight this year? I can't decide whether this might be too much too soon for my ankle or whether to just go for it (second half only) .......I suppose I could always do the flat walk if I don't think I can manage the hills

Second half is a killer, I would suggest the flat walk this year, having just had the surgery, there are a lot of steep hills in the west Wight, and its not a smooth path, lots of ruts, you don't want to muck up your ankle, do the flat walk this year and aim for the whole thing next maybe?0

I did the flat last year with my then 2yr old on my back and it was a really pleasant walk. Don't push yourself too far too soon, people will still sponsor you even for 8 miles so all good for the hospice no matter how far you do!0
