Hi, I am a REAL couch potato with plantar fascitis and some arthritis. My granddaughter is doing Girls on the Run and I would like to do a version more like Grandmas on the Mosey to support her. I have never been a runner and because of my age and weight really need to go slow. But there is no time like this week to start. Can someone suggest a very conservative plan to get me eventually briskly walking a 5k. I am in no hurry. It's OK to go slow.... after all the tortoise wins the race. Suggestions? I do have a treadmill and recumbent bike.
