Gym Cardio

I'm looking for some insight on changing my cardio portion of my workout. I currently do the Arc Trainer for 1 hour, 6 days a week. While doing some more detailed research this weekend on weight loss I read that you shouldn't be doing the same work out. I am also doing Jillian Michael's on wii and her dvd (switching off days) in addition to my cardio as well. Should I switch off switch off between the arc trainer and a elliptical? Any ideas are welcome :)
