Doesn't understand the distance reading on my Elliptical

So I just started using my elliptical again and I have no idea how to interpret the distance setting. It just says a bunch of numbers. It doesn't tell me miles or KM, nothing. It will just like 25984 after a 30 minute workout. What does that mean? Does anybody know?? The brand of elliptical is IMAGE and I've had it for about 4 years now, maybe even longer. I would just like to be able to tell how many miles I put in on the thing. Thanks in advance!

It is the # of revolutions.
I googled it.
This is from the Livestrong web site:

Thanks! How do you convert the number of revolutions into miles? I'll read that article to see what it says. Thank you!0

I read the article and do not know what it means by measuring the pedal's path. I know if I had this number I could do the rest of the mathematical formula. Any tips?0
