How to take proper measurments

Does anyone have any links that explains how to take proper body measurements? Every time i take it, its always didderent and inconsistant.

Thanks for the info. I wasn't measuring my hips at the right spot, but I have lost inches where I "was" measuring them, lol0

That picture helps for sure! I have been measuring the center of my legs and its so hard to figure out if you are actually losing inches or just moving the measuring tape!0

That site says to measure your waist at the narrowest point, approx 1" above your navel, well my long, undefined waist is narrowest at approx 2" above my navel, so I guess that's where I should be measuring, right?0

I think the big thing is being consistent with where you are measuring, exactly.
I wanted the picture because i feel like i put the measuring tape in a different location and obviously that wont work0 -
