SBF2: Reboot Boogaloo! May 14th

So I'm thinking of taking today, somewhat, off. Just a little walk in the morning. I have a lot going on today, and I have 3 hours of yoga Fri, Sat, & Sun. Maybe my knee will feel better if I take it easy.
Yesterday - too hot to ride to yoga (heat index of around 98) - but I did ride a little in the morning and get some yard work in. Almost got burned. I hate wearing sunscreen - mostly I hate having to wash it off after coming inside.

So. . .Shiva Rea is so not my new favorite. "Undulating downward dog". . .um. . .what?:noway: I'm somewhat suprised that a fitness mag would recommend it, as there was no way I could be watching my form while trying to comprehend the instructions. Also, it was a little too. . .um. . ."and now let's do some free-form dancy stuff" for my taste. She seems to be very popular, and her body is certainly enviable, but it wasn't for me. . .Ah well. . .so it goes.
Also, my massage got canceled. (my trainer is sick)
So, today is a walk (if the rain holds off) to the movies and then a light yoga practice later today. Only 2 more days of thirty days of yoga. Mind-blowing.

Just a quick post here. We are going home today I think. We are going to try to go to the coast before heading home. I hope we get to go.
I am determined to get back to working out when we get home and I will be glad not to eat junk food for awhile. Alright, at least for a week.
We got some adoption news yesterday. We heard from the agency and the funding requirements have changed due to the economy. You can only get children over ten years of age or more than three at a time or something like that, neither of which we feel comfortable doing. Also getting a child with special needs. So unless the Lord drops $50k in our lap to get one child, then it looks like it is on hold....for now. We still believe we are to do it but the timing is not now. We have been looking into foster care/adoption locally so we'll see about that. We're trying to be open to whatever the Lord has for us. Not easy at times.

Well, we are in Galveston. DH decided to stay in a hotel tonight and go home tomorrow. We have a hotel on the beach pretty much which is a first for me ever. I like it! We have been staying in a Hilton, but this hotel is so much nicer even though it's not suppose to be. It even has a microwave and fridge which is what I needed in the other hotel! And the pool is indoor and it works! So we went to the beach and then went swimming in the pool. Should sleep good tonight I hope! Speaking of which I guess I'd better get ready for bed. I hope you had a great day!
