Hey everyone--I signed up for MFP last week and just realzied there were message boards (YAY). I just wanted to introduce myself, I'm Krista, from NY, on a mission to lose about 15-20lbs (I've lost 4lbs thus far)or so before my wedding in October. I look forward to hearing about everyone's great success.:flowerforyou:

    welcome! and good luck in your endeavor!! i'm sure you can find the extra help and motivation on this site, i know it's worked wonders for me -- and (so far) everyone has been really great! :drinker:

    My name is leahann and I'm struggling with my weight. I pledged to loose 10lbs. I work out 7 times a week for at least an 1.5 a day. I eat healthy. I play sports. I don't know what I'm doing wrong. Any suggestions. I wish everyone luck with getting to there goals. hope to hear from you soon. :bigsmile:

    Welcome to MFP!! Congrats on your engagement, LP! I really enjoy the message boards. It keeps me connected and accountable.

    Ljo, we'll need more info on you...your eating habits, etc.

    well, for starters it sounds like you're overtraining and stressing yourself out -- two things that'll never lead to reaching your goals. you need to relax some girl!!!

    Hi Leahann. I've been struggling with the same issues for a long time, too. Personally my problem has been portion control. Once I got a kitchen scale and actually started measuring what it is that I am actually eating, it made something click in my brain. It might help you too? I wish you the best of luck!!
