This guy (moderator removed) was only on this site for a short time. He was almost banned because of his profile
that said he wanted steroids, he reminded everyone that The Rock, and Arnold ect take them..
He faced a lot of scrutiny for his threads and comments which may have come across as harsh to people
but he was only speaking the truth.
He left the site as he doesn't like MFP for the fact that it doesn't allow freedom of speech.
I actually supported him, as his main msg wasn't about how many calories you should consume, or hitting your macros,
it was about eating 3 decent meals, eating less and exercising more.
I think that is a good thing.
Many people say, oh "you still have 200 calories left" or "you have to eat your exercise calories back" I think that
just defeats the purpose of exercising.
YOU SHOULD ONLY EAT WHEN YOUR HUNGRY, YOU SHOULDN'T FORCE YOURSELF TO EAT,
ESPECIALLY EATING EXERCISE CALORIES... maybe it works for some people, but i'm sure if you only eat when your
hungry it will speed up your lose weight.
any comments would be appreciated.

It does allow freedom of speech as everyone has their own opinions. But then again MFP is not all about weight... Its about health. Some people are also on here to gain weight, or recovering from ED's etc... Unhealthy ideals shouldn't be supported, it's not in anyone's best interest.0

Im not quite sure what you are trying to ask here though??0

Trust me - if I train hard I get so hungry I appreciate each and every one of those extra calories I can eat.....
Good luck to you - if you think it is the right thing for you - go for it.....
But in the meantime I will proceed with what has worked very well for me - eating back my exercise calories - my ticker does not lie - it actually works!!0 -
I have pondered the whole eating thing,
I mean, back when we were hunter gatherers, we must of ate when we found something and not 3 meals a day, we must of ate when we could and what we could.
There's an arguement that we only started getting fat as such when we stopped roaming and started farming.
Hence the so called healthy grains etc, might not be, at a basic level we should be living of protein.
The basis of modern science may in fact be wrong.
Look around and read different arguements and decide for yourself, if nothing else it will keep your brain active lol.
Steroids, hmmm, I used to work in a gym, more people were on them than you would think,
you had housewifes popping pills to keep thin, legal and illegal and the area between.
The effects these magic cures had down the line only time will tell,
personally, never done steroids in my life, but I leave the choice up to the individual, and do not believe in a nanny state.0 -
Okay, it might speed up you losing weight, but could possibly have a negative impact on your metabolism
i think i would rather have my weightloss be a little less drastic, take a little more time, but not put it all back on when i'm trying to maintain or go back to "normal" eating again
as mentioned before its a more healthy outlook on life!0 -
