My daughter got the best fortune ever this weekend.

    I don't know, but if you play the "...in bed" game with fortune cookies, I've definitely gotten the worst:

    "Even the old man can enjoy the wonderment of a child."

    Haven't been to that restaurant since.

    Many moons ago, I had the same fortune twice within the space of a few months from two different outlets - "Your path is arduous but will be amply rewarding" Still waiting for the "amply rewarding bit" :huh:

    Before I moved, I used to eat at this place all the time, mainly because they had the best fortune cookies. They made them in house, and the fortunes they handwrote in them were hysterical! The best was, sometimes they'd cater them to you based on what you ate. I had a tofu plate once, and when I got my cookie, it said "We sincerely hope you enjoyed the kung pao streetcat"...pure awesomeness.

    OMG my dad would have loved that! We used to go to this Chinese Buffet all the time that was next to a pet shop. He was always making jokes about whether there was maybe some cat in with the chicken.
