Just got a HRM, have a quick question.

When I decide to do some running, I will usually walk for a few minutes before and after the run to warm up and cool down. This may seem like a silly question, but when should I start and end the "recording" of my session on my HRM?
Should I record everything, or just the running part?

I walk before & after I run too - I hit start as soon as I start walking because to me it is part of the workout.0

Yep, as soon as you start walking start the HRM and don't stop it until you are done with your cool down.0
