I thought weights would make it bigger, but then some are saying it shrinks it...sooooo which is it?

I naturally have a bigger butt...so I'm curious what it would do to mine. LoL

Is it better to bulk first and then cut to burn the fat or cut first and then bulk?

personally i think its better to bulk first and gain some LBM.

But if you cant bare your current bf/body image then cut.

Well, I've already lost nearly 30 lbs. I don't hate it now. I have more fat to lose, but I noticed that when I lost weight, I lost muscle tone. I used to have a nice big hard butt and now it's like it deflated along with my thighs. I hate that. I want to tighten everything up and make it hard and muscular, so I guess that's my answer then, huh? LoL I'm actually already planning on starting a weight lifting regime this wk...sort of starting today...cardio today...weights tomorrow. I'm clueless about how what I should be eating to build muscle though.

A lot of it depends on where you're starting out. The answer isn't the same for everybody.

little tired but this is what i was trying to say...

to gain muscle the most effective way is to bulk.. basically consume more calories then your maintenance. i wouldn't go above 500 tho. high proteins. i personally like to aim for 1-1.5 per lbm or bw. moderate fats. fill with carbs.. now everyone's macros are different just need trail and error for this.

edit .. personally i would head over to bb.com if you plan to bulk. pretty much all the advice you could ever want is over their
