Posted this in the wrong so here it goes..

So I just moved on to 30DS level 3 this morning and it was....well a total flop! Level 1 was was good, I did fine. Level 2 was more intense but I really enjoyed it and did well but level 3 leaves me feeling like a fish out of water and a total failure. I couldn't do a good 80% of the moves and my "attempts" were pathetic. I'm kind of having a down morning as it is and this did not help.

I'm not sure what to do. Should I keep trying at level 3 even though I am not getting any "real" workout or should I do level 2 and challenge myself more or just find something else to do that I enjoy and that works me? I have a pelvic diastasis from pregnancies and a lot of the moves in level 3 really seem to irritate that but then again a lot of the moves in level 3 I just flat out cannot preform too so I don't know if I am just making excuses. Any suggestions?

    Hi :)

I'll start Level 1 tomorrow morning.
For all the things I read so far, you are already a winner, 'cause you are doing it, for you and your heath!!!

    DO NOT GIVE UP!!
What if Level 3 is more intense?
Jillian loves us for don't giving up :flowerforyou:

Try first with all the easier options she provides. As she say, better to do it easier, but mantain correct posture!
If needed, take more days at Level 3.
    I know you'll SUCCED

    Kisses,

Hey, I haven't done 30DS but since you've no replies yet, let me share some experience I've had with Insanity.

When I started Insanity, it was a shock to the system and I often had to modify to complete, but I persevered and got fitter and stronger. The second month of Insanity consists of longer, more intense workouts - when I started these it felt like I was starting Insanity all over again, and I was a bit discouraged - yet I knew I was obviously a lot fitter than I had been. Again, perseverance - modify, repeat, keep going - you will get better :)

So good luck - it doesn't matter if you take longer to get to where you want to be, just do your best and keep going. You WILL improve!

I failed at level three too! Omg it was sooo hard! I went back to level two and bought some more of her dvds! Dont give up! Either keep trying level three to the best of your abilitys! Or redo level one and two as hard as u can! Or move onto another of her dvds! They r all awesome!

i was the opposite in that level 2 was an epic fail for me....so i went back to level 1 for a week and now i am on level 3 day 3 and enjoy this level so much more than 2.....i have adapted some of the deep lunges/jumps to accomodate my bad knees but i am still getting a workout from it. i think you should do whatever you are comfortable with and dont sweat the things you cant manage.

If you don't think you are getting enough of a workout - what about going back and doing Level 2 as your "actual" workout, and doing Level 3 also until you get the hang of some of the moves?

PS - I felt like this yesterday. For me, yesterday was D1L2. I really felt like there wasn't a whole lot of explaination on anything like there was in L1. It was just like "alright, we're gonna go straight into a pendulum lunge with a hammer curl. Ready? go!" And I am standing in the middle of my living room sweating like a horse, wondering what language she was just speaking. No seriously, what that Chinese or something? WTF is a pendulum lunge? Or a hammer curl? And how do I do them both at the same time? So I would watch the first couple of reps - ease my way into it, and by the second circut I was on it.

Take your time - go at your own pace - and NEVER give up!

    YOU GOT THIS!

I start Level 3 tomorrow - ugh! I hope it will be ok! I'm going to push through it...I think I want to watch it first so I know what to expect.
