Nordic Track Elite 12.0

My in-laws have ordered a Nordic Track Elite 12.0 Elliptical for me and my husband. We're still waiting on it to be shipped to us, but I was wondering if anyone has any experience with this particular machine or maybe a similar model. Do you have pointers to get maximum use of it's features? Or do you have a favorite training excercise that you would recommend?
