What have you learned from watching tv/movies?

I'm asking because the other night I was awakened by a strange and loud noise outside. The first thing I did was look at the clock on my night table thinking "if it's relevant to any crime investigation the time might be important" (good ole CSI). So I thought it'd be fun to share what we have learned thanks to tv or movies.

Mine include:

Looking at the clock when I hear something (CSI)

Thanks to CSI, again, I learned that if I accidentally kill someone or if I walk into a room to an already dead body that I should just call 911 right away because in the end they'll figure out what happened and well, withholding that will just make me LOOK guilty lol

Shoot them in the head. You can't trust a shot to the body, but if the head explodes you know they are dead.

That reminds me of another one...never go check if they're dead...that's when they pop up and scare you lol

When in a police chase, doing your utmost to maintain control of your vehicle whilst firing a gun, always powerslide.

If you must check, check by shooting them in the head again.

Watch the back of your head cause you may just get, "Gibb Slapped!!" LOL NCIS
NEVER NEVER touch anything at a crime scene. Criminal Minds
Always dial 911, if something appears strange or out of place. CSI
Look at the clock, cause you never know if you will be the one under investigation and you need to know what time it was and where you were.
    ALWAYS have an alibi.

-When a person should do A, they will always do B.
-When a person should be quick about something, then tend to stand there mesmerized by nothing by something unrelated.
-Thinking of James Bond ... just shoot him for crying out loud! Don't talk, don't assume he is dead, but the gun to his head and watch his brains fly out the other side. If this doesn't happen, assume he is NOT dead.

Don't move into a house built on an ancient burial ground.

    and

DON'T have sex. In horror movies, the people having sex always die.

When being chased by a homicidal killer you will always fall down and crawl very slowly while he is rapidly advancing on you. Its the rule!
