ATTN: Moms with jogging strollers!

I am frequently going on long (brisk) walks with my son for exercise. I can only find calories for "walking" -- seems like I would be burning a lot more pushing a 26 pounder! What do you use to estimate your calories when walking with a jogging stroller?

    Hiking?

Or just keep it as walking and then you'll be burning off even more calories secretly! Lol

I run with both my kids at least 15 miles a week. That's pushing 70 lbs of kids plus stroller. I just figure that I burn more by pushing them and high five myself in my head :)

I use a heart rate monitor when I jog with the stroller. But fun fact: I don't actually burn more calories with the stroller, because it slows me down. I actually typically burn more without the stroller.

I don't have a HRM, but I'd love to see if that was the case. I run 40 seconds faster per mile without the stroller. Well, when I'm not in a race that is.
