Hello,

Following on going problems with my hip, knee and foot my GP has advised me to avoid any strenuous exercise but particularly running or any kind of exercise with impact on my leg until I have seen a physio therapist, which could be over a month.

Running and 30 day shred are about all the cardio I get and I can already feel everything dropping again, does anyone have any ideas on what I could do instead? I still get in a 3-4 mile walk every day to work but I do this every day and don't think it really counts.

Swim, upper body weights, resistance bands?

I don't think swimming is an option due to my hip but weights could do it I guess. Assume low weight and high, quick reps to get cardio benefit rather than just toning?

Swimming might be ok, and I really enjoy it but think i'd best lay off that until I know for sure. Thanks :-)
