Male vs. Female Transformations
I must say, that I am biased towards the Female side of the Gender spectrum... But to me, when I see before/after pictures of anyone who has lost significant weight, Females seem to look far better than their Male conterparts. Women who lose weight, due to just cardio activity, have a 'natural' sexiness to their figure. Where Men, doing the same cardio, just get 'skinny'. We have to pump iron to achieve the same effect... Maybe it's just the way I see things. LOL.

Oh I thought that said male-to-female transformations. That's a different thing.
But guys get to eat more (usually) due to higher weight and more muscle mass... so there's that. Don't get too jealous. Although we are pretty sexy.0 -
Everyone has to lift weights to really transform.
Its just that girls that are skinny-fat look still good... guys dont.0 -
well i find when women do cardio only they just get skinny also... could it be you simply PREFER the skinny look on a woman versus on a man?? lol.. wink. :flowerforyou:0

I like female transformations more, but that's just because I've seen more.
Although, I DO live seeing guy's progress, too.0 -

Men lose faster than women and are able to eat more. I do agree though that when we lose weight, we get "shapely" in the right areas. It boosts our confidence and our motivation! Women have to tone just like men though. Men need to bulk up more, therefore they lift weigh more. It's very nice of you to notice though. LOL0

Yes, I was thinking this might be about transexual transformations, too.
Now, for the question: I think you like the female form, OP! Nothing wrong with that at all.
I love the inspiration I get from the success story thread, and each one is unique. Ectomorphic, mesomorphic and pleasantly endomorphic are all very nice to see when they are brimming with good health. And that goes for male and female.0 -
Am I the only one who first read this as "Male vs. Female Transformers"? I am disappointed at the lack of Optimus Prime...:sad:0

LOL. You guys are funny.
What I dislike about female "transformation" is that we take forever to "transfrom". Whereas men just need a month or two of working out to drop pounds :grumble:0 -

Women have to lift to really achive the toned cut look.0 -
I personally find the female transformations more inspiring because..well...I am a female! LOL but I love seeing that men who have transformed themselves become more confident and outgoing in general. I love success stories of any gender, and happily applaud them all. I find mine frustratingly slow, but that's just cuz it's me and I'm impatient! :laugh:0

After losing all the weight I liked my body, but it needed more definition.
I had to pump weights among other things to get my body to look the way it does today :flowerforyou:
I still want more definition (that means I need to continue to lean out my body) but I just started to lose fat from my breasts and I don't like that. I have to make a desission to allow my breast to get smaller to get muscle definition or allow my body to keep the amount of fat it currently has (22% to 24%) and work on muscle tone. I am not sure, I have a lot to consider. I just went down from a full D to a full C and I am ok with it, but I don't want them to get any smaller at all!!0 -

I wonder if it has anything to do with all the bra & undies shots? :blushing:0 -
I must say from experience LOL, It depends on the women. For so many years, women have been scared to lift weights due to the belief that they are going to bulk up like a man. Unless a women takes testosterone or steroids, it's not going to happen. That is what "bulks" a man up! I personally think lifting weights enhances the female physique. Gives us curves where we never had them or enhances what we have. I think a women with a little muscle tone is healthy and vibrant looking. Cardio is not everything. what really matters is the food we eat. Yes women are going to look different than men but we all need to strive to be a healthy version of ourselves. Too much cardio in a man or a women can actually make us loose muscle mass which can make us to weak even to do daily activities. That is just my opinion :-)0
