Hi. I am new here and just started to get back on track for health and weight loss because my blood pressure went way up. My doctor found out that I have hypothyroidism. I started on meds but it made my blood pressure worse. I am 37 and many of my mothers family died in their 30's due to heart problems so I am scared to death. Anyone else have this issue or any advice? Thanks!

Q10 supplements are good for the heart, we naturally have Q10 in our bodies especially heart muscle but as we get older our levels deplete. It helps your cells produce more energy to keep everything working and often recommended for people with variety of conditions including blood pressure.

Here's a study where people were given it particuarly for blood pressure:

I take it as its been shown to slow progression of some types of cerebellar ataxia and helps increase energy as everything you do with ataxia requires more energy than someone without it, (even trying to talk and stuff) I have had more energy to get through the day and managed to go a few days without a rest in afternoon since I started taking it.

It's been shown to boost metabolism and help with dieting and help people with MS and muscular dystrophy as well. You can buy it from most health food shops.
