Can someone help me determine which option to choose?

I take my dogs for a walk in the morning, spend most of the day sitting in a classroom, and in the evenings I do the 30 ds and then relax. Four times a week I visit the gym, 45 minutes of cardio and 2x a week 30 minutes of strength training. I log all exercises, including all morning walks.

I'm not sure if I should select sedentary or lightly active --

Any advice?

At sedentary MFP recommends 1240 cal daily for 1lb week loss - but should I be ingesting more than this?

I'd go with sedentary, then log all of your exercising manually.

What do you do for a living? Do you have a desk job? I am very active outside of work but have selected "sedentary" because I have a desk job. Walking the dog, going to the gym, etc is all added into your diary as exercise and not included in normal daily activities.

EDIT: Sorry missed the sitting in classroom part. Sedentary for sure.

I agree. You can also modify your calorie intake if you need more. My doc recommends me having 1500 calories/day. It all depends on the person.
