Body Combat Classes

Has anyone tried a Body Combat class at your local gym? I put a brief description below in case you do not know what I am talking about.
BODYCOMBAT+trade; is the empowering cardio workout where you are totally unleashed. This fiercely energetic program is inspired by martial arts and draws from a wide array of disciplines such as karate, boxing, taekwondo, tai chi and muay thai. Supported by driving music and powerful role model instructors, strike, punch, kick and kata your way through calories to superior cardio fitness.
If you have, any advice for someone who is going to their first tomorrow night?

I love body combat - is a really really energetic class - good calorie burner and loads of fun! Never sure what to put it as on here though! xxx0

I was thinking this too. I'm going tomorrow night but have no idea how many calories i burn. I'll be doing it for 45 mins x0

I watched a few videos on youtube. Psyched up for the class and ready for it. Also researched calorie burn on it and found on average 500-700 burn in a 45 minute session. You need to put your all into it though they say in order to do a 700 cal burn.
I am not too worried about the burn. I know it will happen and it will be good!0 -
Survey says that class is awesome! I had a great time. It is very energetic!0
