Anyone try this? I just heard about it, and was wondering if it's worth the time and money? I can't afford a gym membership right now so I look for workout dvd's, I've done Jillian Michael's 30 day shred, and was wanting something else. I need something that will focus on my back, tightening my belly, my arms and bum area. I was gonna get Jillian's Ripped in 30 but I think right now I need something not that intense just yet. I really like doing Pilates I did them for the first time today, and I really enjoyed it. So thought I'd try a Pilates dvd. If you have a better suggestion, PLEASE share :).

I haven't tried STOTT Pilates, but I have tried Windsor Pilates and liked it - I also have a bunch of pilates dvd's I've picked up for like, $10 on sale that I liked, including Yogalates (mix of yoga and pilates), Shape Pilates, and Pilates for Dummies - you could probably find these on Amazon or somewhere really cheap cos they're so old, haha.

You might need to get some equipment though - I know for most pilates dvd's they expect that you have a mat and a stretchy rubber band, and some expect you to have a swiss ball and a weird pilates circle thing? Just check them out before you buy them to be safe.

I have about ten pilates dvds and I don't need more than a mat and some light dumbells for any of them.

I like "Method Precision Pilates" with Jennifer Kries (Used on amazon for around five dollars). I have tried other pilates videos but have returned to this video many times over the years. She is dead on with her tips for what you should not be doing - (dont lift your legs off the mat here, make sure you're squeezing your inner thighs there... and I think my form is pretty good).
