I think this is a valid question and haven't seen an answer anywhere to it:

Ok so when you exercise the calories you burn are added into your caloric intake for the day for you to eat, and I understand why it is like this. My question though is why do the other areas being tracked stay the same. For instance - fat, protein, sodium, etc. are the same regardless of how much you work out. How could you possibly intake calories without upping your intake of the other areas? This has been confusing me since I started this. How does everyone else deal with this? :huh:

    Fats, carbs and proteins increase as well, as they are based on percentages of the food you are allotted. Things like sugar and sodium stay the same because it is not recommended that you go over those numbers at all.

    That explains a lot. Thanks! Maybe I was just looking at the fat and sodium???

    Fat should be bumping up a bit.
