Hypoglycemics?! Eating Low GI

Hey everyone! After about five months of relentlessly working out and eating well but still feeling incredibly fatigued and crappy most days... As well as not seeing a change in my body at all.. I decided to go to the doctor to get everything checked out. Currently I'm waiting on a blood test for my thyroid to come back... But the doctor did diagnose me with hypoglycemia. This wasn't much of a shock... But I didn't realize how much it was affecting me! So now I am eating according the glycemic index... Which is super interesting but very foreign to me!
Anyway... I'd love to know if anyone else out there has hypoglycemia and has had difficulty losing weight...
I'd also love some more info about the glycemic index or success stories from eating this way!
The coolest thing so far has been that I haven't had crazy sugar cravings since I started eating Low GI. If I keep my blood sugar levels good through the day... Then I don't crave! AMAZING! I had no idea how much sugar was in the 'healthy' versions of food I was eating by trying to lose weight by watching my calories.
My plan is just eating as close to nature as possible from now on... No artificial sweeteners or other crap in my food. As pure as possible

I've been eating low GI foods for a while now and I feel great. I use this site to check the GI of various foods: http://nutritiondata.self.com/
Also you might want to read up on thyroid vitamins and minerals: http://www.krispin.com/thyroid.html0
