I just discovered the message boards though, LOVE IT!.
I am 41 and started my diet journey at 240 lbs in November. I had to take a fitness test and run 1.125 miles in under 12 minutes, my first treadmill practice run i failed MISERABLY and thought I was going to die. I jump started my diet with phentermine and lost the first 7 pounds, than adjusted my diet and cut the phentermine out totally. Starting exercising regularly with cardio and some weights. In january I started Nutri Systems and got to tell you how amazing that has been. The food has been pretty good and I am going on month 4. By the time of my fitness test on Jan 18th I could run that same 1.125 miles in under 10 minutes and had dropped 18 pounds. Two months later I reached the magic 199 and am now up to 4-5 miles 4X a week. MFP has been my secret weapon through all of it. If I go out to eat I am looking up what the restaurant has and checking out the calories. I track all my cardio workouts down to the treadmill speed and minute and it is great. I have 10 more pounds to go although the BMI says I need to be down to 184 to be in normal range UGH. This app has helped me not only change my life but will also help me stay on track long after the Nutri System is done.

Like the subject of this thread says, I too am ADDICTED. This website is my vice, and it's quite a good one at that.
I've been using this site since September 2011, and simply enjoy every aspect of it.0
