I did a lil research and decided to give Raspberry Ketone pills a try.... Im not really a big pill popper whatsoever but Dr. Oz sold me on them. Just wondering if anyone has had any success with the pills or the opposite?

I was just on google looking up info on this. I'm intrested in what others have to say too!0

If Dr. Oz recommended them I'd run the opposite direction LOL. The guy is a total quack and will sell you on anything that's getting him a kickback, endorsement deal or better ratings.0

And your research should have lead you to the conclusion that if you're not a rat, they've never been shown to do anything in humans0 -

You are SOOOOO getting a friends request from me!0 -
Dr Oz is a great salesman, recommends everything to everybody, be sure to tune in every day to see what he recommends next and pick that up too. :laugh:0
-
Lol hes paid by the supplement companies!
If they sold Dog crap and said it helped lose weight He would sell it too!0 -
*in before the "you guys are rude and Dr Oz is a world class cardiothoracic surgeon"*0
-
He may be a great surgeon but he definitely seems a little sidetracked or should I say star tracked since his stints on Oprah. Sounds like a lot of quick fixes and "diet" hocus pocus. It's a no brainer that anything to do with weight loss or possible miracle weight loss solutions is going to be HUGE RATINGS for him and not so huge (or healthy) losses for us.0

^^ What he said. Dr. Oz shouldn't be called a Dr most days. He's paid to push pills. Just because he says something doesn't mean it's healthy, works or is safe.
I wouldn't waste a cent on what he says works.0 -
I have lost all respect for Dr. Oz. I used to think he was knowledgeable and had peoples' best interests at heart; now, I think he is a supplement salesman.
If I had one piece of advice for Dr. Oz it would be this: get back to the OR before you lose EVERYONE'S respect.....INCLUDING YOUR OWN!0 -
Another day, another Dr. Oz thread.
QUACK!0 -

No, But let me know how you do. Then maybe I will try. Were did you get them?0

Why don't you just eat Raspberries...according to what I read all the benefit, if any, is all from raspberries themselves...and also true that these pills have not been officially tested on humans. You have come such a long way in your weight loss journey without the help of so called power pills or any other crap like that, don't ruin it by falling for all the hubbub of miracle weight loss pills, your better than that:)0
-
I've taken raspberry ketones before and honestly I don't think they do anything so I no longer take them. It's just a waste of money.0
-
Oh, this will make for some great reading later...
:laugh:0 -
This is what, the 3r or 4th thread on raspberry ketones this week and it's only Tuesday.....has anyone considered using the "search" function (it is fun to poke at Dr Oz nonetheless)0
-
Thanks peeps  Im not looking for a weight loss miracle pill at all. Apparently one capsule is equal to pounds and pounds of raspberries and gives an energy boost and helps the metabolism. Thats why I thought I would consider giving it a go..... But it doesn't take much to scare me away from pills haha, I think Im going to back away from the ketones.....0

Wait...so when he said to snort dog crap to drop weight quickly, he was just trying to make money?
dangit...:explode:0 -
Let's not just blame Dr Oz here, the reason he pushes this stuff and makes money is because people want an easy, quick way to lose weight where they can still eat fast food and candy. This stuff sells magazines, books, supplements, etc, because people do not want to hear the truth(which we all know) that the only way to lose weight is to watch what you eat and move you A**. People want to be satisfied quickly and if it takes too long or they have to make an effort, most are not interested. It's sad, but true as to how society now functions.
But not y'all. You are ROCK STARS!!!0 -
I have looked at them too. I was told that it is hard to find pure raspberry keytone -- the pills usually have other "special" ingredients! So, I decided to pass..... :ohwell:0
-
I think i will just stick to real raspberries.. As for Dr. Oz.. I'll think i don;t need his advice or the advice from my co-workers that watch him and tell me what they think i am doing wrong. I am losing weight and inches and they are not. ^.^ But hey.. different strokes for different folks.0

let me know how they work for you? What about bee pollen0
