Dear Mfp members,
I am looking to befriend members who include Indian food as part of their dietary regimen and have been able to witness success with regards to weight loss and overall health. I am also looking for pals who live in the greater Atlanta area for workout sessions. Thank you for your help in advance

I am using Ayurvedic (ancient Indian) cooking as part of my health efforts. I make a lot of homecooked Indian dishes, mostly from Ayurvedic Cooking for Self Healing by Usha Lad and Dr. Vasant Lad. I have seen good results in lowering my cholesterol and blood pressure but still need to work on portion control to see significant weight loss. The food is just SO GOOD. : )

Feel free to add me as a friend.

It's often vegetarian, which is good since so many American diets are skimpy on the veggies. Also, I have read that the spices are good for you and help with digestion and so that can't be bad, right?
