first bikini in 3 years!

So finally I went bathing suit shopping. well, I went by myself, because I wasn't sure i wanted anyone to be there for my melt down.

I posted the picture on my profile. like, is that me?
My stomach still needs some work, but i'm not ashamed.

I can't help but wonder if its like appropriate for me to go out in public like this?
it's just been so long since I've been seen in a bathing suit...it's just really strange to me.

40 pounds gone, and I'm in a bikini. who'd ever guess?

    yall are so sweet. i feel much better now that i know i'm not like crazy for purchasing this tiny thing.
    i fear that i will gain weight and never wear it...better hit the pool tomorrow to work on that lovely farmers tan i got from running away the pounds.

    you all have completely raised my self esteem, thanks!

    I was all ready to go to the lake with my friends today...put on my newly purchased bikini, headed out the door, sun shining, gorgeous....10 minutes later the sky turned black and I saw TONS of lightning..

    oh well, maybe another time.
