Yes alcohol has calories. If you're doing the Atkins thing (which we aren't) it doesn't, but that has it's own issues. So does a piece of pie, and either your liver or your pancreas is going to suffer for it if you don't give it a break once in a while.
The good news is that your liver is actually pretty resilient if you aren't going nuts every day (cirrhosis), ditto for your pancreas(diabetes).
I'm half Irish and I plead the fifth (of Glenfiddich). Other than Catholicism and blowing stuff up there are other things we're known for, given that we don't really have much in the way of hangovers...just keep it in check if you're trying to lose some pounds.0 -
I drink on the weekends, I know longer weigh myself till at least 3 days after ive drunk as im sure you retain fluid.. I wonder is it maybe the **** we eat when we drink????0
