Doing INSANITY on a carpeted floor?

I've done Insanity before, but I did it down in the basement on a solid concrete floor. My workout area has since been moved up into a spare bedroom, but the room is completed carpeted. I am starting Insanity back up on Monday, should I be worried about the traction between my sneakers and the carpet? On concrete, I was never too concerned about that.

Has anyone done the Insanity workout on carpet? Have any issues?

I think you should be fine, it might be a little adjustment getting used to it but it will probably be better for your joints to have the cushioning of the carpet. I do Insanity in a carpeted room but use a yoga mat. Only a few exercises require me to go off the mat. Every once in a while my foot will catch the end of the mat and pull it out of position but it's not a huge deal.

I can't speak for insanity, but I do have TurboFire and I have to do it in a room with wall to wall carpeting. I had trouble getting my feet to slide and swivel on exercise that required it, and as a result, torqued my knee. An easy solution that I found was to use a large heavy duty chair mat. Works like a charm, and when I'm done I just slide it back under the office chair.
