If this is the wrong place for this please let me know. I just started back on this journey last week. I did really well all week then got sick over the weekend and just ate whatever on Sunday and Monday. Now I am trying to get back on track instead of being completely derailed. I am starving today! I am drinking lots of water hoping that will help. I think maybe to help get back on track I may want to up my protein for a couple days since that keeps you full longer? I will use the elliptical tonight so that will help burn some calories. I don't want to sabotage myself because I had a couple of bad days. I am open to any suggestions on good filling snacks. It's that old say "One happy meal is too many and a thousand isn't enough". I need to leave the bad food alone for a while until I can learn to control myself.

I would up my protein. Don't worry so much about your calorie intake, focus on carbs and protein. I can't see your food diary, but I only have 75 carbs a day. Use your own judgement there. Eat often, small meals. I eat Edamame alot of times when I get off of work while I am cooking dinner, just a half a cup or so... but it helps to keep from over eating at dinner. Eat protein bars... there are some really good ones out there.. Hope this helps!0

Healthy snacks? Cottage cheese, almonds, hard boiled egg, tuna, string cheese, plain lowfat yogurt, apple w/peanut butter.
The whole weight thing is about consistency, and life as it happens. You will always have times when over-eating happens, whether it is because of poor planning, getting stuck somewhere that has few food choices, or just lack of discipline. Forgive yourself and move on.
Celebrate your successes and don't dwell on any missteps.0 -
I agree with what the ladies said and keep drinking that water. When i got used to eating a healthy breakfast with fruit in the mornings it seemed to help me. Once you get the bad food out of your system you will feel a lot better! Good luck0
