Newbie, kind of...

Well, I've been using MFP (on my phone) on and off for about 6 months now, but only signed on and completed my profile today. I lost about 10 lbs last fall, put a few back on over the holidays & after New Years day, promised to really try again.
Losses have been modest. I have serious back problems and I have to do everything in moderation or I am unable to walk the following day. Not fun! I used to love exercising to keep fit but since my last back surgery, I am really limited in what I can do to help burn calories. I use my elliptical in small segments, and ride my bike for short periods. That's about all I can do. No jogging, no sports anymore, makes it really tough to lose weight.

So I really have to watch what I eat because my lifestyle has really slowed my metabolism. That and I am closing in on the big 50! So if anyone would consider adding me as a friend & positive words to help me stay motivated, I'd appreciate it greatly. Thanks Ken.
