Lose weight while maintaining muscle (NOT gaining muscle)? I know you lose some of both whenever you lose weight, but I've heard there are ways to keep from losing too much muscle...I just don't know what they are :)

    lift heavy stuff
    adequate protein (I aim for 1g/lb of LBM minimum)
    moderate calorie deficit (depending on current BF%)
