I love mine. I found these little stones that look like shards of glass, but not sharp, and I use them for set backs too. If I gain a little weight on vacation, I add the shards to my pounds to lose rather than moving lost stones back. Seeing those shards in there reminds me that my progress is not always forward but I can still overcome my challenges.

Definitely going to be getting the supplies to make these this weekend! I've been in need of motivation lately, I hope this will kick it into high gear!

Great idea! I was just looking at the sewing box full of buttons I have, think I will use those instead of marbles. And I know I have some glass candle jars already so it will be simple to make. Would love to see pictures of other peoples jars also!

I love the idea. I have something similar. My wonderful cousin and neighbor made me ribbons out of paper, stickers, markers, crayons, etc... for every 5 lbs. The more I lose the larger the ribbon gets. So every 5lbs I get to hang a ribbon on the refrigerator  Since my cousin has since move states away, I hang them when I reach a new weight lose, take a picture and text them to her. I also like that because people come over and have no idea why I have ribbons on the fridge, most don't ask, and that's how I like it. No one needs to know the number lost, just that I am gorgeous

I love this idea. I'm going to create jars for clean food days vs. not clean food days.

Love this idea. I can use this as motivation for so many different things. I need this for every time I take my lunch to work or cook at home instead of dining out. Or every time I pass up the sweets when that 3pm low hits at work.
  • Did you get all the stuff in the crafts section? I am going to get stuff tomorrow to make them.

I got my cups and pebbles at Dollar Tree and the stickers at Meijer. I don't know where you're from but Meijer is kinda like Walmart.

I have these too! Love them and love the visual reminder of how far I've come!

I live in Indiana. The closest Meijer is in Kentucky. I'm sure I can find something at Wal-Mart or the Dollar Tree. I don't need the cups, just the stickers and marbles.

i love this idea. but ive lost most already so im thinking of using them for something else... maybe exercise... dont know yet. anyone has any idea for what else i could use them?

I'm going to start a similar one, where I put a dollar in the jar everytime I complete a work out. Then at the end, I have the money to buy a new wardrobe!

I saw this idea once on pinterest and made some too! I love tuesdays (my weigh in day) when i get to see how many little stones i get to move over to the other jar!!! Seeing the jars in my bathroom every time i go in there is a good reminder to stay dedicated but also as a reminder of how good ive done so far!
