‎...it's usually not a good thing.

Turns out she's selling the house to a guy who owns several rental properties. As a former Realtor, I cringed with each new fact she offered about the new guy. He sounds like your standard investor who is getting the house from her at a discount and will cut as many corners with me that he can get away with. I told her I wasn't happy about it because I'd never had a landlord take as good care of the property as her husband did, and that's part of why I renewed my lease. I will give him a chance... but will also start looking for a new place.

I know the feeling. My apartment complex was bought by a new company. However, it turns out that the new company is actually doign alot of things better than the old company. The only thing they've changed that was negative is that they are now charging for the gas (heat) but they offered me a $150 one time discount and $10 monthly discount so I cant feel bad about it. On top of it, they said that they're building a gym for out apartment complex so to be honest, I cant really complain.

Give the new guy a chance, he might be an investor seeking money but not all investors are bad people
