Trying to get down to mini me again!

Hi everyone. My name is April. I started at about 160 about 2/3 weeks ago, I am now down to 157. I feel like this is a bad start? I have been down and up since 2/3 weeks ago. Is this a good start for someone's first diet?.... Please help :) I'm feeling very motivated and willing to keep the diet up and going. I'm trying my hardest, with all my cravings and being a mom. I have a one year old. Trying to get moving more, seeing the weather here in rhode island is getting nicer by the day. :)
