When measuring for a bra you measure under, but up close. For measuring for weight loss I -think- it's officially supposed to be over. I do both, just so I can see if there is a change in either/both.

Across the widest part for the cup, and under for the back x

you measure both for your bra. under is your "band" size (but you add 3 inches) and across the biggest part is your "bust." the difference between the two is your cup size.

Thanks! I have a measurement for both, but I didnt like the biggest one that included my.. ladies, so I took one under around my ribs.. guess I have to stay true and keep that measurement! lol

I find "bust" size (over the breasts) to be tricky to take accurately, but the "under bust" (around the ribs) to be pretty simple, so I use the under bust as a better tracker fro my progress.

It's good to have both, and since you'll probably buying new bras soon (I know I will) you'll need those new measurements!
