chest strap breathing problems?

Hey all! I've got a Polar RS300X and I absolutely LOVE it! I've been using it when working out for about 3 months now, and I'm starting to notice that the chest strap makes it hard to breathe? I've loosened it a lot, rearranged it, even bought new sports bras in hopes that it was that. Sometimes, the day after working out with the chest strap, I still have problems deeply inhaling and expanding my chest. I also think that during my workout I subconsciously don't push myself as hard because I feel like I can't breathe.

Does anyone else have this issue? What have you done to remedy it? Am I doomed to just not wear my strap....because I gotta tell ya, breathing is more important to me

Any feedback yall have is appreciated!

I would say you are doomed. Some people just can't get along with a chest strap. I can't even wear a watch while running. Wish I had more help to offer but after 3 months it should be more comfortable, not less.

I feel very restricted by a bra strap normally, the chest strap kinda feels the same to me. And when I wear it under a sports bra, the bra is tighter so I don't even notice it. With a normal bra? Can't wear it, at all. I do feel like it's blocking my proper breathing. I also sometimes get a weird tingly-slightly nauseous feeling when I'm wearing it for a long time. Does anyone get that too?

Well that sounds crappy! I have the FT4 & mine feels great...I can wear it all day & forget its there! Hope it gets better but after 3 months it doesn't sound like it :/
