I've been reading a ton of posts about how ppl are running 5k's or just running in random races. Where do you even find races to run in? I'm curious bc I think it would be a lot of fun.

I just search at yahoo or google for 5Ks in the state I live in. They have them all over the state. Good luck!!

I google "5k, seattle 2009" or "half marathons, seattle 2009" and there's usually a list of them for the year. You can try that for you area

I use the running in the usa website too... there are 5K's almost every weekend. This site is great because it will link you straight to the official website of the race you choose and most of them you can register for online.
