Giving a kidney

Hey guys,
I just wanted to see if any of you had donated a kidney? My dads are in failure and I am planning on donating ( pending testing) I know all the risks and all that good stuff I am basically looking to hear what some personal stories of donation have been? How long was your recovery? Did it change life at all for you? I really would appreciate some information on what you went through! Thank you!

    I have not but I work in the Transplant department at the hospital I work at. I am not a nurse but I can always ask around. Message me if you have any questions :) I think that is is awesome that you are donating. Also you should check out Donate Life, it is an awesome organization!
