Not new but new to reaching out to the MFP community

Hi All,
I have been on MFP since January but I haven't really interacted much on the site. I have reached a turning point in my efforts to lose weight and I thought I would reach out to the community for help.
I have been trying to lose weight since I was a teenager. I have lost weight on fad diets only to gain it back and then some. I am now 30 and I am just plain tired of the trying and the struggle that comes with trying. I want to finally do it! I am very active. I am a runner and I just recently did the Disney Princess Half Marathon in Disney World. I trained very hard but the weight is stubborn and slow to come off. I know it has to do with what I eat. The problem is I am a bit of a food lover and a baker. Gah!!!
I plan to do a few more 10k's and then run another 1/2 in the fall. My goal is to run a full marathon in the next couple of years and to do it within 4 hours. These are big dreams and I know the only way to accomplish them is to lose 40 to 50 lbs.
Either way, it would be great to connect with some people on this site and get some support. I am a great at supporting others but struggle to stay postive for myself.
Happy Wednesday Everyone

Feel free to add me. I recently started running. I signed up for the Spartan Sprint which will be held in Montreal in June and would love to participate in the Princess Half Marathon in 2013 (big dream) or 2014.0
