Hi all

When I first came to this site..weighing 155...It was rec to loose weight to stick to a 1290 cal a day diet...which I thought was a little low..but by reading the boards and making better food choices...I usually hit 1290 to 1300+ every day
I had some time, so I plugged in my new weight (146...goal 138) and now it is rec 1400-1500 calories a day...I choose sedentary than moderate activity level....

Did this happen to anyone else?
If I want to continue to loose weight....would it make any sense I need to eat more calories?
It seems lots of people on this board were rec 1290-1300+ calorie range

Thanks for any insight
Kim

it upped your calories because you went from sedentary to moderately active to make up for the calories you burn regularly. As long as you really are more active you should still be fine. For myself I put down sedentary because I am home with the kids all day long and although I still do things I don't want to over-report my activities because there is a lot of time spent with kids in my lap (like right now) I add in the extras later on in my exercise. Good Luck!!

Oh, you're right..I don't read very well:blushing:, I thought she chose sedetary over moderate activity. You got it, more daily activity, more calories burned. OOPS!:embarassed:
