Looking forward to seeing some answers as I am in the exact same boat as you tonight! And it's all across the front of my chest as well....

I know that I won't put as much effort in tomorrow if I feel this way - so hopefully we can get it sorted :flowerforyou:

That's great your arms are sore! You must have put it to them!

I drink a whey protein shake after I workout. It helps me recover faster.

Just a note...If you workout (lift weights) make sure you rest those muscles for atleast 24-48hrs. If you don't you risk injury and working that muscle before it has a chance to fix itself. When that happens you will get fatigue, hurt, discouraged and waste time! It's a good idea to do a fullbody every other day(at most) or split your workout up into upper/lower with abs every other workout.
You can do cardio on your off days and after you workout but make sure you rest enough!!

Make sure to get plenty of rest and don't work out again TOO soon.
I usually take a warm bath with epsom salts when I have muscle aches from a hard workout. :)

If it is just your arms, you can always do something that requires more leg work (eg biking, stairmaster or lifting legs only.) Usually once you warm up it feels a little better.

However, sometimes especially at the begininng of lifting I was just to sore and skipped a day. The world will go on. :)

Jump into the shower and relax .... try some deep heat cream maybe if you need to. I found my muscles ached like crazy when i was recovering from a severe shoulder break, the only relief i found was shower and maybe bit of electric blanket and if i had to then tablet (pain killer) .. Good luck with it. It'll get easier!

If your arms hurt after a workout, you are doing something good...using them!

Today you SHOULDN'T do workouts using your arms, you should work on your legs/back.

I drink a protein shake after I work out, and if my arms are sore, I take a hot bath and use Sombra (like icy hot)

I don't skip workout days because then skipping one day makes it easier to skip the 3rd day and so on.

    Keep at it!

There are supplements you can take that will help with the muscle recovery process.
L-Glutamine is well known as a muscle recovery aid.
    Not just for bodybuilders.
My skeptical wife took it after working her shoulders too hard and conceded that it helped. :O)
