I wish I had known that my binge eating wasn't due to me being weak willed but was linked to food intolerances. All that struggle for a number of years and feeling bad about myself at each failure and all it took was to eliminate the problem foods and the binging stopped cold with no struggle at all.

I wish I had known about this site, it has helped me immeasurably.

I wish I had known how easy and enjoyable healthy eating is.

As others have said (and this is a great place to learn it!!) :

That 'diets' don't work and eating does!

Now I am eating healthily and eating enough I have not had the desire to binge on a whole packet of biscuits in one go. I can enjoy foods I love and have energy for my workouts.

But, most of all, I really wish I had known that I was worth this.

^^^ THIS!!!! The most important thing of all.

    YOU are worth it!!

Eating more makes you lose weight.

If I knew this when I was eating more my body would have obeyed my knowledge and I would never needed to go on a diet.

That entering EVERYTHING.into MFP is important.
That by picking here and there and cleaning up the kids meals the total cals easily add up.
And that on those days I haven't done so well, entering it all into MFP helps to ge me back on track rather than just giving up

I wish MFP had been around years ago. I've counted cals before but it's been with a book and notepad.
